Dr. Laura Amato

Dr. Laura Amato is the Clinical Director of Albee Dentalcare. She graduated from UMDNJ dental school. She then completed a comprehensive general dentistry residency at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ, followed by three additional years of advanced training at the Manhattan VA medical center in the specialty of Prosthodontics. Dr. Amato completed her formal dental studies at Columbia University in NYC, obtaining an additional subspecialty in Maxillofacial Prosthetics.

Dr. Amato has received 5 years of formal training beyond the general dentistry degree. She has shared her knowledge having held staff appointments at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan, along with teaching appointments at both the NYU and Mount Sinai dental residency programs. Dr. Amato is one of a few dentists in the United States which have acquired this level of training and expertise.
